A Blog With Too Many Words
I'm curious as to why the paperback is US$23.60 and the PDF is US$28.18.
My price for both is the same, Eric; $30. But it is being sold though several vendors besides lulu, so maybe you are looking at an ebook vendor and a paperback vendor who are different? For clarity sake, How to Run is not being sold as a 'pdf' - but as an ebook. I know some think of this as the same thing, but they are in fact not. The pdf is used to create the content of the ebook, but there are other things going on.It shouldn't be possible to buy the book in pure pdf form. If someone has figured out a way already to pirate the book, and are selling it in pdf form, you are not buying it from me.
I've added a page for the book page as I see it, Eric. Says $30.Is it a local currency issue? Perhaps the book is canadian priced but the ebook had to be american priced.
With regard to pricing:I, an American, am seeing a price of $23.60 for the paper book. Assuming that the price of $30 is supposed to be in CAD, then the USD price should be $27.90 at the current exchange rate of 0.93 USD to 1 CAD (source is Google which returns real-time rates.)So there is something else going on here. I don't know what. When I buy my copy, if it's not fixed, I'll Paypal you the difference (god knows I can't use my ~$10 Paypal balance for anything else, so it's not entirely a moral thing.)
No need for that, Maxwell! From sales I've gotten in the US, Canada and Australia, I'm getting the margin I expected to get - so whatever is going on with Lulu, I'm not getting shafted. Just take the price you see and don't worry.Sorry the ebook winds up being more than the paper copy. But there's no delivery cost for the ebook, right?
I purchased the e-book last night. Excited to read through it all. I feel I've plateaued as a DM and I really want to expand my skill set. I'll post a review when I'm done!
Ktulu, I promise you it will show you the next path.
Bought and reading. Thank you, Alexis
How is it so far, my Spanish friend?
