Two questions for the general zeitgeist.
First—has anyone actually downloaded The Lantern's PDF? Patreon doesn’t tell me, and I’d genuinely like to know if it’s reached anyone’s hands yet.
Second—of Exalted Funeral, Spear Witch, or Tuesday Knight Games, who’s worth reaching out to with this? I’m not asking who you like—I’m asking who’d actually look at it.
The Lantern is good. I think any third party stuff Tuesday Knight hosts is for the Mothership RPG, so I don't know that they'd be interested. I don't know about Spear Witch, and I've only shopped Exalted Funeral.

ReplyDeleteSecond -- Tuesday Knight Games makes the Mothership sci-fi game, and their site seems like they concentrate on Mothership and Mothership-adjacent stuff. I think they're the least likely to actually take a look.
Exalted Funeral and Spear Witch both seem like better fits, and I think both would actually look at your product first. I think Spear Witch is really the best fit, product-similarity-wise, but as far as I can tell, it's run by one guy, so communication may take a while. Exalted Funeral seems the most "business-like," I guess, but their product come from a much wider net, including a lot of pretty "weird" stuff (I guess gonzo is the appropriate term).
Too Long, Didn't Read version -- Tuesday Knight seems to be into Mothership and not a lot else. Exalted Funeral carries your kind of product, but a lot of other stuff as well, I think yours might get lost in the shuffle. Spear Witch seem like a smaller, slower-paced site, but the most similar to your product.
