I would be posting the next segment of Finding D&D in the Dark, except that I'm gearing up today to sell my menu and book at The Sentry Box.
This shop has been in business the whole time that I've been playing D&D, though in this interation I'm guessing about the last 25 years. The upper deck will be full of players tonight, while I'll have a table somewhere on the lower deck, I suppose. Gordon, the owner and I, have been acquaintances since I was 15, so he was graciously considerate in giving this opportunity.I know it means little to anyone not actually in Calgary, which is why I haven't been harping about this for weeks, but if anyone reading this is in the area, drop in and see me.
I love the Sentry Box! I remember when it was next to the university and base as well. Truly a remarkable game store and one of the few left like this. I'd love to see you there, but I love in Washington State. Of course i could crash at my aunt Char's place if i was upthere I suppose. Oh yeah, I'm a Canadian Ex-pat as well!
