This one got me to laugh out loud. From a combination of the exaggerated eyebrow, and the second line of text not Fully registering with me until I had to go down far enough for the picture to smack me in the face.
I remember enjoying your comics a few years ago, but mostly as an interesting experiment and a showcase of the art you had created for your game. I don’t remember myself laughing at them very much. (I probably would’ve liked them more if You had been writing a continuous, noncomedy narrative, rather than disconnected strips as in a newspaper comic.)
I think the humor potential for these image macro style posts is higher than it was for the comics. Perhaps because you are forced to compress everything into one image, making The Successful image macro function in one shot. You catch the viewer in that special way, or you don’t
