Speaking Of Things I Don't Do Often

I'm going to prove the value of commenting on other people's blogs.  I got my first comment from Donjon Master this morning; popped over to his blog and found a post there that rips bare the honest, legitimate feelings to be found from an old school gamer in that long, far off year 1982.  The gentle reader must read it.

I had almost forgotten.

  1. Thanks for pointing that out, I greatly enjoyed reading it and have subscribed to his blog.

  2. Agreed - thanks for pointing that out. The author of that post started playing pretty much the same time I did, give or take a few months.

I think it's fun to go back to read people's early RPG memories. I blogged about mine here: http://daddyrolleda1.blogspot.com/2011/02/how-did-it-all-start.html but it does lose some of the "you were there" type of analysis of the post you pointed out since it's not transcriptions of my journal written at the time.

  3. My story, if you'd like to read it, is the first post on this blog, here.
