I've done all I can think of to repair the Patreon file posting ritual. Last night I deleted the post and reproduced it from scratch. The tier is published, Patreon says the post and the tier are live ... so if it still doesn't work, I'll have to abandon that as an option.
I'd like it if someone that's able could go to Patreon, see if it's possible to read the post there, and let me know.
I checked the new post and I'm still asked to upgrade to the $30 tier to see the content.

ReplyDeleteI see only one post, Escritoire, even when I go to the "public" view on Patreon. Can you please confirm that you DID see the actual pages through the Patreon page, and not just a message that there are two pages there?
ReplyDeleteDiscord, the $30 box is definitely NOT checked, so I don't know why. Perhaps it's because you still have cookies from the old search? Could you reboot maybe, or clear your cookies, and see if it gives you a fresh view?

ReplyDeleteI cleared my internet history and tried on a separate device as well. Same issue. I was able to "join" at the $10 level for no additional fee, as that was my pledge level anyway. I can see them now through Patreon.

I've been subscribed at the $10 level for a while, so I saw (and can still see) the post with the two pages on Cultivation just fine.
ReplyDeleteWhen someone is updating their existing subscription amount on patreon, you do have to be careful in unsubscribing completely from the creator and then resubscribing at the new tier - just updating your $ amount will see you pay that amount without actually changing from one tier to the other. (I've had to wrangle with this for other creators in the past.)

ReplyDeleteSorry for the late reply, but it's all working fine for me. I had no problem initially viewing the preview either. My membership on Patreon shows me at the correct tier as well.
