At first I was irritated by the fact that you were saying that the books didn't tell you how to role-play but then once you explained yourself I understood and agreed. I have a player who always gets angry if people aren't role-playing the way he wants in his little set up so its nice to hear someone else talking about it.BurntskullCandyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14765261576974041991noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3871409676946408069.post-12223468447625094662013-08-02T01:06:16.329-06:002013-08-02T01:06:16.329-06:00right on the spot!right on the spot!Fabio Milito Pagliarahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13043436735116048822noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3871409676946408069.post-16728178809150747622013-07-20T18:34:40.600-06:002013-07-20T18:34:40.600-06:00Most times, I really enjoy JB's writing. I have been playing D&D since 1981. I appreciate all of it's incarnations. I like other rpg systems as well. I like crunching numbers and I like role playing. I like tactics and I like intricate plotlines with detailed character backgrounds. But what I love best, is sitting around a table with good friends and having a great time playing a game.By The Swordhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16799389743529116360noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3871409676946408069.post-8025037061482950282013-07-20T17:03:28.587-06:002013-07-20T17:03:28.587-06:00I've NEVER written about my feelings on my blo...I've NEVER written about my feelings on my blog... but please, call me a Statistician.<br />Davehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10231423670489116607noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3871409676946408069.post-50897750189432275492013-07-19T15:51:06.225-06:002013-07-19T15:51:06.225-06:00Didn't read his blog, don't intend to eith...Didn't read his blog, don't intend to either. ELEVEN POSTS??? Seems a bit much. Frankly, Ron Edwards' discussion of GNS and his revisions of it into "the Big Model" are better discussions of the nature of roleplaying and its variations than most of the blogosphere's output on the subject. Discussing feelings is all great, but for eleven posts?
