They inferred it from the title of the blog and from discussions with you online. Now, I'm not mentioning this for your sake - you're well aware of what was written during those years - but for your readers.

If I remember correctly, you wrote a post that addresses this issue: that the blog's title doesn't represent the "one right way" for D&D. Instead, it represents the idea that there is a right way, that we can know the right way and, while there may be more than one, the right way is one that we can objectively evaluate and criticize. It's this last detail that causes consternation: we're uncomfortable with criticizing our work (and therefore, with having others criticize it for us) because of our personal attachment to it.Ozymandiashttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01065642299277380465noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3871409676946408069.post-34166934151226323022016-02-27T19:38:45.015-07:002016-02-27T19:38:45.015-07:00"The one right way" might well be a rive..."The one right way" might well be a river. It's going where it's going, where it always has and always will. But the exact path changes over time, as new rock is worn away, silt is deposited in a bend, or when a tree falls into its path. Floods and droughts, they all work their way upon the river.

And yet the river flows. Or doesn't, if the source dries up. But there's always another source, so there's always another way, and it, too, finds its way to the same endpoint.Doughttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15657793356913767894noreply@blogger.com
