Woodblock printing onto textiles predates printing onto paper in Europe but that's rather overlooked due to the use of color in embroidery and weaving taking over in later years.irbyzhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12215185881501392755noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3871409676946408069.post-40653946789298366822011-06-07T20:30:26.050-06:002011-06-07T20:30:26.050-06:00Paperless D&D actually kinda works for 3E or 3...Paperless D&D actually kinda works for 3E or 3.5E, at least at low levels where there aren't that many spells and you can pretty well estimate things' AC. I've done it. It was an interesting experience, which I recommend people try sometime.

AdamAdam Thorntonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06368676086759298705noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3871409676946408069.post-22611231269804343192011-06-07T18:07:11.963-06:002011-06-07T18:07:11.963-06:00This series is very useful for anyone building a p...This series is very useful for anyone building a pre-modern world so keep it up. I'm also a big fan of the old BBC/PBS show "Connections" which really played up all these contingent developments, like paper being needed before the press.Roger G-Shttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08594440701279968693noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3871409676946408069.post-35473900438625023342011-06-07T13:51:10.212-06:002011-06-07T13:51:10.212-06:00Nice. I was wondering why it isn't as big a deal as many other materials like computer monitors and heavy metal. It didn't strike me that it was used in paper.

As for DnD without paper, I do recommend getting small whiteboards commonly used for doors, lockers or refrigerators. It's handy not to have to erase paper constantly. And no I wont say it is better for the environment, I use paper towels to clean it up. I just like clean character sheets. You can also use it to tally turns abilities last and a lot of other temporary information, only altering the sheet itself at the end of the night.Oddbithttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12091924105175846386noreply@blogger.com
