The New Eye-Pod

... and I think this one is worth posting as well.  I worked long and hard on it both yesterday and today.

  1. The whole text is a pleasure to read, and makes me want to put one of those creatures in my game soon ^^ .

  2. Nicely done! The layout is working well, and the choice of miniature is perfect; I certainly wouldn't want to run into one of those, no matter how many hit points I had. (Your own overhead art is also good, especially the way you spread its eyestalks around it; most art I see of beholders has all ten facing forward.)

Do you happen to know when/by whom that mini was released?

  3. Tucked away at the very end: "left-handed" and "right-handed" beholders. For when your players have studied the Monster Manual too much.

    I love it!

  4. given your no PvP rules, how do you handle hyponotism?

  5. Under your description of the beholder's hypnotism entry you said it allows people to attack allies or I am reading that wrong. The entry specifically States that difference.

  6. Sorry, Keltoi, I've been out of it. Forgot which post we were commenting on.

Yes, the Beholder's hypnotism ignores the allies rule. The beholder's eye isn't a spell, it's an ability, and is more powerful. I should have said that, but, as I said, did not look closely at which post you had commented on.
