Identify Yourselves

Damn, I love statistics.  And since I have some to play with, namely the stats for the new Wiki website ...

Because so few people are looking, I have this very rare oppotunity to ask who out there is viewing the site.

From Canada:

Collingwood, Ontario
Edmonton, Alberta
Vancouver, B.C.
Port Coquitlam, B.C.
London, Ontario

From the U.S.:

Denver, Colorado
Kings Mountain, North Carolina
Sewell, New Jersey
Bellevue, Washington
Dorset, Vermont
Washington, D.C.
Littleton, Colorado
New York, New York
Middletown, Connecticut
Meriden, Connecticut
Newbury Park, California
Cranberry Twp, Pennsylvania
El Paso, Texas
Dallas, Texas
Irving, Texas
Corvallis, Oregon
Midlothian, Virginia
Abilene, Texas
Rossville, Georgia
San Rafael, California
Edmonds, Washington

From Europe:

Lynn, U.K.
Reykjavik, Iceland
Ely, U.K.
Winchester, U.K.
London, U.K.
Riga, Latvia

Anyone care to answer?  I'm just curious.

Update:  near misses (possible remote connections) highlighted in yellow; definite hits highlighted in green.

  1. I almost certainly show up as Denver, but the actual location is western Nebraska. It is remotely possible that my work vpn shows up in El Paso, though I would have expected San Antonio.
Very interesting to see the geographic spread.

  2. I'm assuming I'm showing up as New York, although I'm really on Long Island (at the moment) as a student at Stony Brook University.

I think I discovered this blog over a year ago. I haven't been a regular reader until I subscribed to the feed about a month ago, but now I'm sure to read each post (and hence discovered the wiki).

Although for some time I spent perhaps an hour a day reading about RPGs, that has tapered down quite a bit. Unfortunately, reading about them is about all I do; I've only ever played one session of D&D, which was laughable but still an enjoyable time among friends.

Hopefully I'll be having an opportunity for some play this winter. Regardless, this blog is always interesting and the wiki looks to be the same.

  7. I'm in Coshocton, OH, so I don't think I'm on the list.

  8. I am probably showing up as Irving, Texas although it may be Dallas, Texas. I am actually in Arlington (home) and Fort Worth (work).

Also, not sure I actually show up on here much, since I read your blog via Google Reader.

  11. I'm in Portland Oregon, I could be the Corvallis hit, or anything else...

No idea how my Comcast cable connection correlates to this location stuff.

  12. I'm the hit from King's Mountain, NC. That would be me browsing from work... you will see hits from Clover, SC from my home ISP.

  13. Could be either Dallas or Irving, since I'm in Coppell (very close to both.)

  14. I'm probably London, since my Sattelite internet LES/ISP is there somewhere, even though I'm Australian and currently in the middle east...

  16. I'm not in that list right now, Alexis, but if you go and look again, you should have a hit in there from Sudbury, Ontario.

  17. I think Midlothian will be the name of the next fantasy kingdom I need to make up.

  18. @ James C: Nice! Where you living now? I grew up in Mt. Ephraim, lived in Audubon and then NE Philly for a while, and then wound up in Oaklyn about six years ago.

  19. I'm up further north now, Burlington Township, but spent six years between then and now all around the country. You can drop me a line @ the e-mail in my profile if you want to find out if we know anybody in common.
